Co-producing with the Iris Group enables a producer to raise financing in the five European countries where our Group operates.

The Iris Group has its own production companies in Luxembourg, France, Belgium, the UK and Germany. It finances its co-productions with the following financing tools:

In Luxembourg: Iris Productions

  • The “Aide Financière Sélective” or “AFS” (Selective Finance Subsidy) is part of the National Support Scheme of the Luxembourg Film Fund which is governed by the Ministry of Communications and Media.
  • Company’s own Equity

In France: Rezo Films, Rezo Productions and Drimage

  • National subsidies (CNC) and regional subsidies
  • Pre-sales
  • Minimum Guarantee for national distribution: Rezo Films and Drimage
  • Financiers (SOFICA, etc.)
  • Company’s Equity

 In Belgium: Iris Films, Iris Finance Services

  • Regional subisdies (Wallimage, Wallimage/Bruxellimage, Ministry of the French Community of Belgium)
  • The Tax-Shelter financing scheme: Iris Finance Services
  • Pre-sales
  • Minimum Guarantee for distribution
  • Company’s own Equity

In the United Kingdom: Iris UK

  • National subsidies (BFI) and regional subsidies
