BAD BANKS AT MIPDRAMA SCREENINGS 2017

BAD BANKS, a 6 x 52 minutes thriller series directed by Christian Schwochow, had been selected for MIPDrama Screenings 2017 where the first images of the show will be screened.

BAD BANKS (former CREDO) is one of the twelve international series selected at the MIPDrama Screenings which is going to take place in April of this year. MIPDrama Screenings gathers buyers and distributers from all over the world. 

The show will be available to acquire at MIPCOM in October, with Federation holding worldwide rights excluding France and Germany – where the series will be broadcasted on Arte (France) and ZDF (Germany). The series, shot in Luxembourg, Berlin, Frankfurt, London and Bahrian, is currently in post-production.

The thriller series is mainly about power games, manipulations and betrayal in the center of the high financial world.

The series was written by Oliver Kienle (Tatort, Happy Birthday Sarah) and directed by Christian Schwochow (Paula, La Tour). It is starring Paula Beer (Frantz, Diplomatie), Désirée Nosbusch, Tobias Moretti, Barry Atsma and Jean-Marc Barr.

BAD BANKS is a coproduction between Letterbox Filmproduktion (GER) and Iris Productions (LU) for ZDF, in cooperation with France, supported by Film Fund Luxembourg, Hessen Film und Medien and the German Motion Picture Fund.
